  • Freezer rooms 0°C to -40°C – These cold rooms can be constructed on site using insulated panels, they come in a variety of different colour finishes although typical colour used is white foodsafe laminate.

These typically require a heated reinforced concrete floor to be laid on top of an existing floor or to excavate the existing concrete and then laid. There is also another option of an insulated panel floor which is more economical although its not recommend for forklift usage.

  • Chiller rooms (walk in fridges) 0°C to 5°C -  This form of cold room doesn’t require a floor to be installed with the room, due to the high temperature there isn’t a risk of frost heave.
  • Hygienic Food Production Areas – These can be constructed from hygienic foodsafe insulated panels that provide cold, chilled environment suitable for wash and clean down
